Anna: My literary world changed at age thirteen when a friend gave her Kathleen E. Woodwiss’s A Rose in Winter. With my mind thoroughly blown, I decided that one day I too would be a romance novelist. With Hugh Jackman’s abs and Christopher Reeve’s blue eyes as inspiration, I loved spinning tales of superheroes finding love.

Anna: Hero Unleashed is book two in the Heroes of Saturn series.

Sharon: Tell me why you chose Lip Lickin' Lemon Tartlets for your recipe in the Passionate Cooks cook book.
Anna: I love chocolate, but I also like having an alternative flavor for desserts during family dinners. My lemon tarlets are always a crowd favorite, or I should say, it's the lemon curd that is the big hit.
Fresh lemon curd is super easy to make and can be used in a variety of dishes. Use it as a cake filling or to sandwich shortbread cookies together. One of my favorite summertime desserts is trifle. Layer pound cake with lemon curd, berries and whipped cream. Super yummy.
